... A photographer/Mom-tographer decided she would try to take on a "Project 365" of sorts. A project that didn't shamefully shake it's head when a day was missed or punish the photographer for not getting that perfect....
And so it begins.
I started an endeavor like this one last year and got about 15 days in. I love looking back at those 15 days in January and wish that I would have continued! It's so amazing to watch the changes in our lives and this is a wonderful way to accomplish that. However, I got discouraged when I started to miss a few days or didn't have an epiphany on a certain day for a beautiful shot, so I stopped. I just flat out stopped. This time, I'm taking a different approach... I know I'm going to miss some days. I know I'm going to mess up. But having what I will have at the end of the year is going to be an incredible journey and a huge growth for me in my photography. I think that later on in the year, I will work on specific things that I want to improve on - but for now, I just want to capture my family and life as they are. Things are going to get very tricky in March when a new addition arrives. Not only will it be a new victim, er, I mean subject ;) but a huge opportunity to watch my baby grow over the next year. However, with a new family member comes the crazy, hectic and usually overwhelming first year that can consume a life! I'm hoping this little project will keep me from missing the big milestones and help me remember to catch the little ones :) Fingers crossed!!
Ok, enough blabbing.... On to the photos!
